What is MediScanAi?
MediScanAi is an Android app, coming soon, that helps families keep track of their medicines: scan a prescription, set reminders, mark each dose, and look after everyone at home from one phone — in English or Hindi.
What you will be able to do
- Scan a prescription. Photograph it and get a clear list of medicines with their timings. You check that list against the original before anything is saved.
- Get reminders and track doses. Each reminder can be marked Taken, Snoozed or Skipped, right from the notification.
- Add family profiles. Add Maa, Papa, Dadi or the kids. They don't need their own phone or a login — you manage their medicines from yours.
- Check two medicines together. See whether two medicines may interact, then confirm with your doctor or pharmacist.
- Prepare a Doctor Summary. A clean summary of your medicines and doses to share at your next visit, made on your phone.
- Use it in Hindi or English. Switch the whole app between the two anytime.
Who it is for
Families who look after more than one person's medicines — parents managing medicines for their own parents, or anyone juggling several prescriptions at once. If short forms on a prescription confuse you, our guide to common prescription short forms is a good place to start.
What MediScanAi is not
MediScanAi is a health assistant, not a doctor. It does not diagnose illness, and nothing it shows is medical advice. Your doctor and pharmacist decide which medicines you take and how much; the app only helps you organise and remember what they have already prescribed.
When can I use it?
MediScanAi is coming soon to Android. You can join the free early-access waitlist — we will send one email when it launches. Read about MediScanAi or see how to organise medicine reminders for elderly parents in the meantime.
